Mammogram

A mammogram is an X-ray imaging technique used in radiology to examine the breast for early signs of cancer or abnormalities. It helps detect tumors, cysts, or calcifications before symptoms appear. There are two types: screening mammograms (routine check-ups) and diagnostic mammograms (for specific concerns). Digital and 3D mammography improve accuracy. It is recommended for women over 40 or those at high risk.
