MRI Scans

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scans use strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the body's internal structures. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, MRI does not use radiation. It is commonly used in radiology to diagnose conditions affecting the brain, spine, joints, and internal organs. The procedure is painless but can be noisy, requiring patients to remain still inside a tunnel-like machine. Contrast dye may sometimes be used for clearer imaging.
